Welcome to the hip Clifton neighborhood! Our well-appointed home is ideal for friends, family & business travelers. A short walk to some fun neighborhood eateries and bars, and less than a mile to the popular Frankfort Ave filled with great restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques. This GREAT location is only a 15 minute drive to the EXPO Center, Churchill Downs and the airport, 10 minutes to downtown, and central to exploring the KY Bourbon Trail. This historic style, but renovated home, is charming and unique. It offers 3 fully furnished bedrooms, but please be aware that the third bedroom upstairs is not private! It's an open room, but we've put in a canopy bed to give a bit of privacy.
We love this neighborhood for being quiet at night, but close to great amenities. Our favorite coffee shop is Vint, and our favorite restaurant on Frankfort Ave. is Fork & Barrel. If you're up for a little experimenting with burgers, jump in the car for a short drive to Game (kangaroo burger is the most popular!). If you want to leave the keys at home, walk 5 minutes to The Silver Dollar which won't disappoint with its comfort food and bourbon selection, The Champagnery for bubbles and small bites, or North End Cafe for your hangover breakfast!

Summary: We generally loved the house and felt the large shared spaces were great for our party of 3 couples! We loved the shuffleboard, big dining room table for games and sectional sofa for chill time- they all accommodated our group well. We felt the size and location of bathrooms should have been more clearly stated on the description. The main shared bathroom is off of the dining room and is *very* small, the only other bathroom is only accessible from the master bedroom. It is the size of a regular bathroom. The bedrooms upstairs though, were where the listing felt most unclear to us. The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is listed as an “open bedroom”, but does not explicitly state that there is no privacy, as you have to walk through that bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom upstairs. It is pretty awkward that those in the far bedroom with a door had to walk through the first bedroom in the middle of the night to go downstairs to the bathroom. This a great property for a family or friends who are like family but when you don’t know everyone very well, it is uncomfortable. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Summary: This house sits in a quiet neighborhood but is within walking distance to restaurants/bars/coffee cafes. Very roomie inside. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Large back yard. Any questions i had during our stay were answered quickly by our host. We really were happy with this house.

Summary: Historic home that is beautifully updated to give a comfortable stay for your group! We were a seven minute drive from our convention downtown, yeah, we could enjoy having a whole house to spread out and enjoy meals together. The kitchen is nicely stocked, and the owner leaves a lot of extras just to make things more easy for guests. It is always a huge bonus to have a washer and dryer just in case!

Summary: This was a really cool old home in the Clifton neighborhood. It was clean, comfortable and had a very welcoming feel. The only downside was there is no bathroom on the second floor. Not much of an issue, just worth mentioning.
